78 C-101 COIL BRACKET PAINTED OR?

Recommended Posts

This is probably an easy one and I think it was painted with the engine but should the coil bracket should be red along with the coil on a 78 C-101? Thanks!

Some are black, some are red and some (which I prefer) are silver (bare steel) Painting them seems to flake off.

I usually glass bead things like that coil bracket to ensure the paint adheres.

Then paint silver/aluminum or clear coat it :)

Just found confirmation from an original 78 C-101 brochure the coil bracket is also red. Thanks!
