My lift Handel doesn't want too stay latched up sometimes, any ideas?

Try spraying some PB Blaster in the top end around the push button.

In addition, have you checked underneath to determine if your chain / bar etc. are adjusted correctly and not binding? Connecting points are not the same for all implements…

 

Also check the adjustment knob for correct adjustment for the implement you are using…

If you are still using the lift bar they can get bent a hang up. I have changed my C-120 to the later chain type.

@earlleecliffton , agree with @edkennell, on the lubricant , should get some rust run out , also look at any related rusty linkage related areas . pete
