roadapples 6,983 #1 Posted February 18, 2022 Very windy list night. Loud noise about 4AM. Only damage I see is a dent in the spouting. And the bird feeder got punished...really lucked out.. 9

Maxwell-8 4,276 #11 Posted February 19, 2022 Yesterday we had winds up to 85mph, blew the roof on one of our sheds off. We saw it when it happened. Almost hit our Horses.
Sparky-(Admin) 21,318 #12 Posted February 19, 2022 Glad it pretty much was a miss Jay! Similar situation here…strong winds Thursday night into Friday morning. This tree was 6”-7” diameter so not very big, but 10’ more in one direction and it would have taken out the hood or windshield in my truck. 1

The roots of those invaders will continue to sprout and keep coming back, so clear all around the area so you can mow them down, or spray every time they sprout up.

The big problem is it was the neighbors tree and there are more close to the property line...
