Bill D 1,932 #1 Posted February 17, 2022 Many of the shaft seals for the Eaton 1100 are NLA from Toro. Does anyone have a cross reference for the seals, specifically the motion control seal and the input shaft seal. Thanks.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,094 #2 Posted February 17, 2022 Have any numbers? Found this kit https://www.partstree.com/parts/toro-112667/
WHX?? 49,152 #3 Posted February 17, 2022 Not sure of the number but the axle seal is a common one. Maybe @squonk knows the NAPA #. Also check with Lowell he's quite a selection of seals. https://wheelhorsepartsandmore.com/
squonk 41,319 #4 Posted February 17, 2022 #56-3310 seal kit. About $80 clams. Looks to be the only way to get it.

Item #43 is available from Toro. Item #35 is not available. Found no replacements at SKF. SKF will have replacements if you can supply the oil seal for OD dimension and the shaft size. https://www.partstree.com/models/30611-120-toro-groundsmaster-tractor-sn-210000001-210999999-2001/hydrostatic-transmission-assembly-18/

It's probably overkill, as it includes the large o-rings for the hydro pump and every other seal required for a complete teardown. But it's one way to be sure you have everything if you need.
WHX?? 49,152 #9 Posted February 18, 2022 Can you pick the other old seals out for a measure Bill? Good point KP.... what are we trying to do here Bill.. Are the input and direction shaft seals leaking that bad they need to be replaced. I have got a few 1100s and never had a problem in any of these areas?
Bill D 1,932 #10 Posted February 22, 2022 I'm looking for cross reference numbers. I can get SKF seal thru Napa. Helping someone with a leaky hydro. Also, are the brake shaft seals the same on the Eaton hydro and the 8 speed? Thanks.
953 nut 55,756 #11 Posted February 22, 2022 Like Jim said, remove the old seals and take them to a GOOD auto parts store so they can match them up, they can have the new seals the next day if not in stock. I would guess that the brake shaft seal on the 8 speed and Hydro of the same years would be the same.
squonk 41,319 #12 Posted February 22, 2022 (edited) Just for reference a LOT of SKF seals are not stocked at The Napa stores or even the distribution centers. Mostly they have to factory order them. At least the ones I've run across the last couple of years. The 11124 is not stocked at my store. There is 1 in my Syracuse DC and 2 in Albany. 1 1/8 axle seal 11050. Same thing. 1 in Syr. 2 in Buffalo. 6105 input seal, 1 in the store's network of 10 other stores. I think the unidrive brake seal is a a common shift shaft seal for auto transmissions. I remember when a lot of the seals got sent back because they sat on the shelf. It's all about moving inventory now. Stock 10 different sets of brake pads for one car but send back stuff that will get someone out of a jam someday. Turftech 82 #13 Posted February 22, 2022 Find an Eaton distributor/service center they still sell parts for the 1100 as it is still in production for other applications. You may have to wait to receive them as they can be special order items. Also Eaton 1100 seals are designed to handle the oil pressure the unit produces. Crossing over other manufactures seals to a high-pressure hydraulic pump is highly discouraged.
