Pullstart 63,090 #2 Posted February 13, 2022 They had a limited slip, but not true locking. A chap over in the UK, @meadowfield has fashioned a couple different styles of locker. John c 79 #6 Posted February 20, 2022 not anything like competition pulling, just would like better traction for daily use, lots of hills and off camber terrain around my place. I can usually just shift my weight around to make do, but I'm limited to how much I can load in the trailer if I'm having to pull uphill. Don't really want to switch to Ag tires because it's also used on turf. I remember the old 2810 ford my FIL had back in the day, it had a heel lever to lock it up, something like that would be useful. But now as I sit here and type this out, it dawns on me with what I'm doing it's probably best it does slip, I almost flipped that ford when I had a big drag disc hung up in deep compost pile. 2 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Of course that requires opening a transmission, and it only works with the 8 pinion diff. ...and it is NOT designed to be used that way.
