Life changes in a second.

Recommended Posts

Received some bad news late last night. My father is in hospital and not doing well. He is 88. Has taken a couple of bad falls too. Spent the day getting a plane ticket and making last minute arrangements .Not easy leaving my wife alone here. I have two sons but she will be alone in house they are not that close. She will be OK but I still worry since i don't know when I will be back. All neighbors are good friends too. In morning I got to get a Covid test and hopefully that will be negative otherwise I stay. All kinds of paperwork to simply board a plane. I think there are mortgages requiring less paperwork. Restrictions from here and restrictions from there. Total insanity. What a day.

Formariz, I hope and pray he's better soon!

My dad went through a similar situation a few years back. Had to bring him home with me for 6 months, but he did recover and go back home.

Dad was always self sufficient and proud. While that was a source of pride for both of us, he and I gained new respect for one another during the process of his healing. It was alot of work, but worth it.

Dunno why I said all that except to try and say to keep your head up and don't worry. Life is what it is, but many times comes with a silver lining.

Not speaking for Cas, but I’m pretty sure he’s in Europe.

Sitting in plane while they are now deicing it. I really don’t like traveling in these things. It’s just like a sardine can. Pack them in tight.
