TonyToro Jr. 1,415 #1 Posted February 13, 2022 My dad and I got a new project on our hands! It’s a 1961 brookbil GoKart. going to make a wheel horse themed GoKart. Also Going to bring it to Zargays Farm and Tractor show in the spring. Got it with a B-80 and a whole bunch of other tires, and miscellaneous parts for wheel horse. Going to just get the parts but the guy talked us in to taking it off his hands. My dad didn’t really want it but then we got this idea and now we’re all into it! TonyToro Jr. 1,415 #8 Posted April 10, 2022 WE’RE DONE!! We starting on February 12th and finished it on March 22nd We put a Predator 212 on it and it rips! Does at last 35mph. And gonna add some Wheel Horse stickers to it soon. I just can’t figure out a name for it any ideas? We took the rims and hubs off a Wheel Horse Commando V8. Then we ordered a 1inch axle and a Mechanical Disc brake. Also we added a Harley Davidson steering linkage. We painted it Regal Red and the tires are gold. I've... ehem... (throat clearing)... wasted a lot of money on engines... and if you want a little head-start from my experience @TonyToro ...you would be much better investing in a Tillotson 212R... and buying a forged rod for it... Those videos were only testing…it wasn’t dialed in for max speed yet but I do agree. Don I didn’t know the specifics of the engine. It just sounds like a built engine as they compared to the Animal from Briggs. Thank you for the extra information. I’ll also look at the Tillotson.
