Wheel horse inspired GoKart

Recommended Posts

TonyToro Jr.

My dad and I got a new project on our hands! It’s a 1961 brookbil GoKart. going to make a wheel horse themed GoKart.  Also Going to bring it to Zargays Farm and Tractor show in the spring. Got it with a B-80 and a whole bunch of other tires, and miscellaneous parts for wheel horse. Going to just get the parts but the guy talked us in to taking it off his hands.  My dad didn’t really want it but then we got this idea and now we’re all into it! Maybe I’ll post a picture when it’s all done…… But you have to WAIT!!!:angry-nono: BE PATIENT!:text-imsorry:     :banana-dance:

Here’s proof TonyToro Jr. really has a project and working in it. 😂👍

I’ve seen he hasn’t updated and I don’t want to spoil his surprise to the club. We worked on it almost every night since this post started.

Are you guys bringing that to the Zagray spring show?

I can bring a hood we can play with to see how to fit one if you're interested

Meh... from an engine building standpoint... I wouldn't buy that. It still has a cast rod, carbon crankshaft, stock cam, and stock valve springs (not to mention... it is a hemi ...PUKE)...

I've... ehem... (throat clearing)... wasted a lot of money on engines... and if you want a little head-start from my experience @TonyToro ...you would be much better investing in a Tillotson 212R... and buying a forged rod for it... :twocents-twocents:

Those videos were only testing…it wasn’t dialed in for max speed yet but I do agree. Safety is number one!

if that was me at that age…never a helmet….we just didn’t know any better. 😂

I like the name too! 👍

Don

I didn’t know the specifics of the engine. It just sounds like a built engine as they compared to the Animal from Briggs. Thank you for the extra information. I’ll also look at the Tillotson. I’ve seen those starting to be popular purchases in gopowersports.
