JCM 9,362 #26 Posted February 11, 2022 Is this set-up used along with heat ?. Also do you mind giving up the grade, and sizes of the hardware used. Looks nice and I would like to have one on standby. Thank You @daveoman1966
953 nut 55,753 #27 Posted February 11, 2022 I have had great success with a bottle jack puller like the one @meadowfield posted. As others have said the vibration of tapping on the hub (not the flange) while pulling helps a great deal.

You're welcome to use that absolutely anytime.

The Big bolt & Nut (1 & 2) are grade 5 (or 8) 1" dia 8-thread... but 12-thread may work better. The other 5 nuts & bolts are just 3/8" geneeral purpose...nothing special. Don't forget to WHACK the head of bolt "1" each time. I've re-written the text in this pic...more descriptive of 'how to'. I see the directions state to loosen #4. Why is that? Do they bind? How about nut #2? Thanks...
