Gasoline and the junk in there won't care because it isn't the white clothes Anything that fits in the hole will work but remember, you gotta shake'm all out of the hole too. There is a fine screen on the petcock that needs to be in good condition. You can’t get too aggressive with the gas gauge float in there.
