Pullstart 62,905 #9 Posted February 6, 2022 1/4 mile. Tiny! Our closest local track is a 3/8 mile high banked track. Next closest is 7/16 mile with lower banks. Either could hold more speed than these guys are running today. Lots of places for error!

This was long overdue, The vast majority of the "Creative Engineering" (AKA bending the rules) was relater to the chassis in the past. I have no idea what it cost to convert the LA Stadium into a 1/4 mile race track but it was money well spent. It was a great day of entertainment and introduced a lot of new fans to the sport. My favorite driver, anybody but Busch, won the race. I'm a happy camper! Looking forward to another great season. 1
WHX?? 48,823 #21 Posted February 7, 2022 Not a huge NASCAR fan here but that was a good read Dan. Would rather go to a short track and watch the weekend warriors, who have a local tavern for a sponsor, fight it out in the trenches.

Lee1977 6,663 #23 Posted February 8, 2022 They lost me years back. This new chassis will make it more fair, I don't believe a word of it. NASCAR has been trying to kill racing for years, I believe they have finally got it done. Since NASCAR took over it has always been about the money and it always will. The rules always get bent in the same direction.
