Toro Snow Blower Starter Motor Help

Recommended Posts

SylvanLakeWH

Hi All

During last storm I fired up the 1992 two stroke paddle blower from Dad for Mrs. Sylvan to use and the electric start worked fine. Stop to refuel and plug it in to restart and it just spins slowly then stops altogether. Now nothing. No noise whatsoever. It has no battery - extension cord to starter…

Starts fine with the pull cord, and runs like new, but point is for Mrs. and daughter to use easily…

Anyone ever deal with one of these? Starter motor is NLA as far as I can see but some component parts are still available…

Appreciate any thoughts…

Search on eBay for Toro Powerlight starter. There are a couple there now you may be able to match to yours.
