Has anyone had luck with a radio that isn't that bulky that you can't even see. Maybe one on Amazon. I know Wheel Horse made a radio but it's big. Just didn't know your guys thoughts. don't get me wrong the Onan sounds awesome but it would be nice to listen to the radio.

I don’t listen to the radio. But if I did, I’d go with @Achto’s advice. Can’t imagine you’d hear anything well enough over the engine noise…

I, if I thought there was any sweeter sound than an Onan, would use ear buds and my phone also !

And then there’s the fact that a LOT of our members tractors wiring are butchered by previous owners, I prefer not to add any unnecessary wiring by trying to wire in a radio…. And besides, where are you gonna put it ? Heck, I don’t even want to drill a hole for a cup holder !

If I had to hear music, I would use my phone and ear buds…

I prefer to listen to the machine I am working.  Not because it is so beautiful sounding but you can hear things that are starting to go wrong before disaster strikes.

I usually prefer over-the-ear sound attenuation so I can be alone with my thoughts--or the in-ear foamies when it's hot in summer. Recently my wife gave me a set of Bluetooth noise cancelling earbuds and I've started using them to listen to podcasts but only when doing things that don't need my full attention! They work surprisingly well and I don't need too high of volume, either.

I use the same ones. And I can still hear the motor and the deck if either were to start making scary noises :music-listening:
