Amazon.https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07ST9PTM9?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_details

Been looking for a while. This one works great  Good size mirror and projects out just enough with plenty of adjustment. Mirror is a little like the ones on passenger side giving you a wider field of view.

@formariz  looks good , think  of other side mount , with more exposed bolts to go to , having that 3rd eye , would be good ,pete

You can buy cheap golf cart mirrors and some magnets on the usual online sites.  Buying the parts instead of paying for a vendor to do a 30 second assembly is the best way to go.  I have them on my Kubota using larger magnets.

For snow work, I absolutely think that mirror is great!

I'm finding the older I get, the harder it is to turn around far enough to see behind me. Arthur has settled in on my neck, and it flipping hurts. This has me thinking I need some rear view mirrors that can easily move from one machine to the other.

Great ideas here, guys!

If I'm reading the Amazon description correctly, there's a mounting bracket that bolts on to the tractor, and then the mirror can be removed and re-installed with the locking knob, no tools required?

I only see one mirror on this tractor, two sounds like an even better idea.  What passenger side mirrors are you referring to, any in particular or just the general concept?

You guys have to watch this video, even if you're not especially interested in the mirrors...  There's an amusing little comment just about a minute in for residents of California. B)

I hear that loud and clear, but "flipping" isn't a strong enough word to describe the pain.  I spend a good bit of time bush hogging fields at our place in Virginia, and like to back into corners to get them cleaned up nice.  Turning around to see where I'm going gets seriously painful after a couple of corners, mirrors might help that situation a lot.  They would probably also help on the rare occasions that I have to drive on the road (my current service guy lives just up the road a couple of miles, I'm constantly turning around to see if anyone's coming up behind me).

No sir, it is not. I just figured if I used the word that I mumble when my neck is hurting, it might invite a moderator intervention!

Would be perfect for tractor racing if the text on the glass said "Tractors in the mirror are losing"

Eh, @Pullstart ??

Yes these are readily removed from bracket. You can see the knob  on my photo. There are two mirrors. I was going to use two, but the one on the right side would interfere with the plow turning lever unless i positioned it way up front. I want them where i can reach and adjust them if needed without getting up from tractor. I also realized that the on the left is really the important one anyway since it is the one used to check for vehicles coming up from behind in in the direction of traffic. If I am on the opposite lane against traffic i see them coming ahead anyway. Passenger side mirrors are a little convex showing a more panoramic view. These are ever so slightly like that.

I backup as much as I go forward plowing my place. These will help greatly on that also.

Some advice if you get these. They are made for the Jeep therefor arm is bent for that particular location on Jeep. I was reluctant in drilling the hood but realized that with a magnet every time I would be moving big piles  they would come out of adjustment, so I drilled only the top hole ( in that location on my tractor with bracket vertical only one hole falls on hood anyway). That works out great due to the fact that tilting the bracket from vertical a few degrees will provide 100% adjustment such as if it was mounted on the Jeeps pillar.

Having to plow a considerable amount on the street for myself and the neighbors I help, I can't stress enough how important this mirror will be. There is a considerable amount of traffic here . I don't know about where most of you are but here the biggest problem is that people are just outright obnoxious and inconsiderate. Sorry to say this, but its mostly women driving big SUVs with their phones stuck in their ears and their heads stuck up you know where. I almost got clipped quite a few times despite all the lights on tractor and the fact that road is full of snow. Most times they zoom right by me within inches without slowing down. Sorry for my  language on this, its a bit unlike me but it is the state of things around here. No one cares about anyone else. Sad

I couldn’t have said it better myself.  I have made the exact observation years ago.  The types you mention would take you out before they would touch that yellow line.  They passed a law about discharging grass clippings on the road, but that is where they will go, I will never turn my back on the idiots.

Didn't @ebinmaine call it "backing up until it sounds expensive"?

As many of you folks know I drive demountable forklifts for work.

MANY of our drops are done at the side of the road.

There is a recent law here that states a requirement to "Move over or slow down" for any flashing lights of any color.

It's followed by some......

One of the tricks I use when possible is to have a vehicle parked with lit hazzard lights downstream of the unloading truck.

Most folks are aware enough to see a vehicle with flashing lights.

The rest can go ahead and hit THAT vehicle instead of me because it's the first thing they get to.

Have had some mighty close calls.. Haven't had direct contact yet.

If it's possible to set yourself up to keep a flashing vehicle in the road, do it.

Yep. Love when people decide what other people can do with something biodegradable. I remember back in the 90s when soldiers in the field at Bragg were told they could no longer pee in the woods. They were to drive thier diesel truck up to 5 miles to the nearest latrine as to not disturb the endangered woodpeckers... I wonder how much it bothered the environment to drive trucks for miles back and forth to a toilet as opposed to peeing in the woods.

Idiots. Do something even if it's wrong. At least you can say you did it.

Classic wrong response to a non-issue…

Option 1 add to air and noise Polution at highest cost possible needlessly impacting the birds or

Option 2 silently return nutrients to the earth for free with no impact to the birds…

Yup let’s go with option 1… :(
