lynnmor 7,306 #26 Posted January 16, 2022 Before slopping oil all over the painted surfaces, try using this polish. I have brought back some weathered paint to near new condition with it. 1

lynnmor 7,306 #30 Posted January 16, 2022 Just now, TJ Salyers said: How do you use it on your tractor @lynnmor When you click on the link, you will see a RA polisher being used. I use the pads from Harbor Freight, but I am rather disappointed with their polisher. The great thing about this polish is that it is slow cutting so even an amateur will not damage the paint. 2

Three horses and another path.... 1 1

Maybe because 520s had too many gauges and electrical gizmos that failed already??? The Electrical forum here is over represented with 520s... 2 1

peter lena 8,627 #41 Posted January 21, 2022 @TJ Salyers good going on that, just a thought , as part of your baseline service , if you do that , verify what works , and doesn't work, especially electrical connections , that crack / split and short out, replace those connections. thorough lubrication refresh . don't wait till you have a number of issues to solve. think that drive belt added venting , close to dash area , would be a smart upgrade , pictures on this site. that rear cylinder is a regular problem , due to overheating , packed grass. aerosol lubricant spray down , will instantly start to feed and recover paint, only a suggestion . good luck with it , looks promising , pete 1 1

TJ5208 1,824 #50 Posted January 25, 2022 Would it be hard to find a frame extender because everything I put in the classifieds never do anything it just sits with no one wanting to buy it
