Lee1977 6,673 #7 Posted January 29, 2022 We got less than an inch, sun out bright 36 degrees and melting. It all blew off the roads last night..
peter lena 8,637 #8 Posted January 29, 2022 @Sparky this dry light snow , is actually a blessing for us , typically we get a wetter sloppy mix , that brings down lines and power. just outside , wind chill easily below zero with a bout 20 mph wind. weather is a trade off , if its friendly its good , if its bad , it can always get worse . generator , pete

Inspectorjoe 471 #19 Posted January 29, 2022 I finally (almost) finished setting up one of the two tractors I'm setting up with snow blades. I only got two inches, but that was enough for my trial run. 4
peter lena 8,637 #20 Posted January 29, 2022 @Inspectorjoe just go in after 2 hr , cleanout with my neighbor , we were splitting driveways covering each others work and just kept making a steady gain on the 18+ " we got . he had a blower I had a blade , the dry snow ,changed over to heavy and wind blown. glad to have a neighbor like that, talk often , keep it comfortable . BTW your tractor sounds good and synthetic plow edge does a good job , pete 2

953 nut 55,324 #24 Posted January 30, 2022 Woke up to about a half inch of snow and ten degrees outside and sunny clear sky this morning. Decided to let the sun clear the driveway, by three this afternoon everything that isn't in full shade was clear and dry. I cherish my seat time but not when it is too cold!
