ebinmaine 67,544 #1 Posted January 28, 2022 Like many of us I have a fascination with watching the weather and seeing the storms and the predictions as things form. This next couple days is going to be particularly interesting to me because the storm itself is basically going to be forming as it's snowing so things could go one way or the other very quickly. At this point in time, 12:30 p.m. on Friday, it looks as if NWS has my area forecast for about 10 inch of snow. Portland, 18 or so. Boston? Good gravy people. 24 to 30. How about you? Be safe out there people. This one's going to get interesting for a lot of us. 3

JCM 9,169 #10 Posted January 28, 2022 After having the 2 stage and cab on the 520-H for close to 20 years I decided to remove it this past fall, good move huh. Looks like possibly up to 18'' of powder with heavy wind blowing it around. Will have to resort to the 417-8 with 48'' plow and the other brand for help.

Jeff-C175 7,202 #14 Posted January 28, 2022 Coastal NJ here... Blizzard warnings in effect, winds maybe up to 50 MPH, more likely 35-40 here about ten miles inland. They're predicting as much as 18" for us. My bet is closer to 12". We'll see.
