We went shopping yesterday, four sacks of crushed oats and a bag of alfalfa cubes.

The feeding project, first the wintering birds, now the summer birds, now the squirrels out of hibernation have joined the buffet along with the fox's looking for an easy meal and the hawks overhead.

 

We expect the bears will be next.

 

Our cat and the fox seem to be friends.

The snow has finally gone, four deer and a skunk at the salt lick this morning.
