Dave 1953 70 #1 Posted January 21, 2022 I have some damage on my right fender and I have found a local guy that has done sheet metal work for me before to do the work but I have to pull it off. I have very poor eyesight and it would be very helpful if I knew beforehand how many bolts I have to remove to get it off. Does anyone that has removed a GT14 fender know appx. how many there are. 953 nut 56,187 #4 Posted January 22, 2022 Looking at the IPL (Illustrated Parts List) it appears that there are about 14 bolts for each fender and the tail light wiring. (warm up may be awhile) I figured 6 or 8. Some previous owner had chains on it and they tore up the vertical part on the rear. He will have to cut the damaged part out and weld a new piece in. When he gets done you will never know it has been repaired. Thanks in advance. My grandson came yesterday and had to remove a total of 6 bolts to get the top portion of the fend off that was damaged.
