And a tool box is to hold tools. There is a “ good enough” point for everyone me included. I don’t know if I would dish out what they cost. However, having said all of that and having the experience of being able to have them side by side ( my younger son is a mechanic and serious appreciater of tools), the two tool boxes are not exactly in the same planet. The quality of the materials and build are not even close. Specifically where it matters such as the drawer slides themselves the differences are enormous. I have seen in many of his colleagues General tool boxes that have seen a few moves to different jobs that they are not doing so well from the stresses of being towed full of tools onto a flatbed and off.
