oldlineman 1,481 #1 Posted January 18, 2022 Figured I will get some responses with that title. Have had her from birth, not a days problem and still going strong. Showing her age but so am I. Was my first and was a great investment next to my wife, ( however wife has been more expensive) . Just some current pictures from our last snowstorm in the mountains of western Pa, 12 to 14 inches. It's been awhile since we had this much fun with this much snow, used to be very normal snowfall for January around here. Hope you all are having as much fun as I am, even though age is making it a little harder. Enjoy and stay safe. Bob 7 10 2

rjg854 11,378 #4 Posted January 18, 2022 I definitely was having fun out there today spent two or three hours in order to get everything cleaned up real nice. As a side note a guy was coming up through checking transformers on top of the poles and he was quite impressed with what that wheel horse could plow.

Mike in NC 341 #7 Posted January 18, 2022 You living in that part of PA, where are the sleds? I have family in Blair and Bedford counties. Some of them have had sleds for as long as I can remember. Nice Wheel Horse. I have a Bronco 14 and love it. It is my plow unit. We had close to a foot of snow. Spend 2 hours on sunday plowing and then another 4 yesterday. Plowed my driveway, two of the neighbors driveways and the cul-da-sac.
oldlineman 1,481 #8 Posted January 18, 2022 Yes I have had sleds and toboggans in my younger years but these old bones don't like that kind of fun anymore, good memories from my youth though! Bob

If you are talking about the sleds with two runners that we all had as kids, they can be found in antique shops where they can hardly give them away. Donning geezer hat, this generation can’t find the keyboard or engine on those sleds.

I had four or five different sized ones.
lynnmor 7,307 #11 Posted January 19, 2022 Since snowmobiles have no keyboard, they are of little value to many. 4

oldlineman 1,481 #13 Posted January 19, 2022 Yes have done that too, first sled 1969 399 TNT was a very heavy sled 18 " track hard to steer, but was fast for it's day. Like other things getting older takes some of the fun out of things of our youth. We used to take extra gas so we could get back on some of our longer rides. I still have the memories though. Ps, actuality how I met my future wife, will be 48 years in Oct. Bob 11 hours ago, Mike in NC said: I was talking gas powered sleds, snowmobiles.
