Funny question about badging… and a little off topic… but Kohler is a very integral part of so many Wheel Horses. How do they have an engines division and a plumbing/fixtures division? Like imagine Wheel Horse also selling refrigerators or toilets…? IH was made about everything back in the day, refrigerators, trucks, tractors, implements, nuts and bolts, etc. So did Allis Chalmers, and I imagine a few other tractor companies.

grinchsr 627 #28 Posted January 17, 2022 You are going to love it. I use it for grass cutting only. I find that it is a little quieter than my 416's and also starts faster.

I’ve only had it here for a day, but looking forward to mowing with it this spring. See how it performs. Yours looks like it’s brand new

That is a modern style (easy to fond) can you take a couple of close ups on how it is mounted. Would be great if we could figure out how to use that newer style on the older WHs. I have one of those style electric PTO's that came off a 315 on a Magnum 18 in a C-175. It wasn't too tough, there were holes to mount the anti-rotation arm already in the block. IIRC figuring out the on/off switch wiring was the trickiest part, I never got the safety switch wired into it (lazy... lol) but with some thought and time, it can be done. 2

For clarification, Mike's tractor isn't even broke in yet.
