Looking at that pan seat- whole lot more stuff might get split...

Looks like that Case has the traditional hydraulic (not hydrostatic) drive. I'm not sure what the benefit would be of all that power and higher RPMs...

@Snoopy11 if you search for 'lawn mower racing' on YT you'll find a lot more examples what people do with, or to, lawnmowers 😁

I am considering my options. I am also considering doing another build with a predator 212, hopping it up.

If I did a predator 212 build, I would document everything here on Redsquare... and probably sell it here.

I would aim for 8,000 rpm.

There are many companies that make performance kits for Predator and Duromax engines. A good way to get 11+ horse power out of a 6.5hp engine. Also good way to turn $150 engines into $500+ engines.:thumbs2:

https://www.amazon.com/s?k=predator+stage+3+kit&gclid=Cj0KCQiAoY-PBhCNARIsABcz771ykf7VEUyener21OzNPPPZ_AMX5Z8AJdVoHLE6PAIHSztk05XfR4QaAhcWEALw_wcB&hvadid=461388534660&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9019452&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=16716558766179201263&hvtargid=kwd-947745368808&hydadcr=7473_9612076&tag=googhydr-20&ref=pd_sl_70l07vdn2x_e

NOTE: If you are building an engine that will spin more that 5000RPMs you will need a billet flywheel. A stock Predator flywheel will fly apart around 5500RPMs. Always do you research before building a performance engine.

There’s a guy on U tube that put together  a old Sears garden tractor with a Kawasaki engine and trans, the dang thing would fly.Very dangerous but highly recommended. As a matter of fact he wound up wrecking it.

I saw one on the Cars and Cameras channel that went over 65 mph I think it was. The guy ended up flipping it and getting some bad road rash from it. It was a cool build though.

Any of you guys ever ride your Radio Flyer wagon down a hill with the handle flipped back to steer with when you were a little kid?

That amount of positive control is comparable to any garden tractor that travels over about 15mph.

...as is the common sense levels.  The Darwin awards were created with such things in mind.

Thought about it a couple of times but there is a sharp turn in my driveway and a bunch of big Pines lining the edge so common sense (that I barely have) told me otherwise.

Better yet, the old man drove the Ranger behind the Horse. :)

30 was his top number without the snow blade (snow blade puts on an extra couple hundred pounds, as you can imagine)...

This was common when I was young. The neighbor kid & I used to race our wagons down his long steep asphalt driveway. Of course "rubbin' is racing" so there was the inevitable and frequent crashes.

I apologize! Please interpret my post to mean anything over 30mph!

I once knew a fella who added a motorcycle engine to a Murray lawnmower. Stories of the accident claimed 70+ mph. Even heard he raced a Camaro stoplight to stoplight and won.

To say he "rolled it" in the crash doesn't do it justice...
