Absolutely agreed. Very impressive.

I realize you borrowed the idea from a couple other guys. Your execution of it is very very good.

I'm sure you've already heard it 100 times but just remember these transmissions are NOT made to be shifted on the fly.

Anytime you feel anything but perfect buttery smooth shifting that's a tiny bit more damage...

One great advantage you have with the throttle pedal being on your foot is being able to control RPM so you can teach yourself where the proper shift points are. We do that with commercial trucks.

I'll be looking forward to you getting this out for some seat time and keep us all posted as to how it goes.

I hit subscribe on YT.

I want to do an overview video once I get the exhaust done and I will include some action shots.  also I plan on riding with some fellow tractor guys in mid February and I’m sure they will get me on video as well.

When you do that it would be cool if you shared their own YT sites or videos too.

Took some inspiration from the clamp on receivers I see for wheel horses and with the design help of a friend I came up with a rear bumper/grab bar, I still have some details to finish like capping the tubes and welding on a receiver

I took the Raider 12 out today for its first actual trail ride today.  Did pretty well other than I need to re-jet it ,fine tune the clutch, and the belt jumped off the lower idler once just like it did on Ol' Red.  Anyway I rode with my new tractor friend John who brought his B-80.

@Crazy_Carl what size pulleys are you running for this high end speed? Looks like 19-20 mph?  Can you walk us through the drivetrain?

Looks like a ton of fun!

Thanks.  This video explains the belt system.  The B-80 has a similar one.  I'm running a 5" pulley on the engine and trans and topping out at about 10 mph.  The B-80 is ungoverned with a 7" engine pulley and a 5" trans pulley topping out around 20 mph.
