Are these people for real?

      Just recieved a Christmas card from my nephew.    He lives in Baltimore...around 50 miles from me.    Snail mail is alive and well.  

 

   The stamp wasn't even postmarked.      I'll give it back to him to send next years card.

Another Christmas card story.

 

Our good friends Steve and Lisa retired last summer, sold their house and moved to Ocean City, Md.

 

We recieved a Christmas card from them a couple weeks before Christmas.  The envelope had no stamp or postmark.

Several days later Lisa called and apologized  for sending the unstamped card and offered to pay the postage due.

She had asked Steve to drop the cards at the post office.  When he got home, Lisa asked "did they have any nice Christmassy stamps"?

Steve got that Oh S#@t look.   He had dropped them in the out box unstamped.    

Lisa called all 32 people she sent the cards to.     All were delivered with no postage due notice.

I have a package that has sat at the USPS distro hub 25 miles away for almost a week. This is getting crazy!

My father and I own a NAPA store here in the next town over from where I live. Just a month or so ago I mail the statements off on the 1st and by the 18th we still had not received payment from accounts that are never late (the 15th is late). On the 22nd we started calling people and everyone said the same thing, that they had not got a statement yet. Three more days go by and one of our customers walks in with his statement and showed it to us, the envelope was postmarked for the 20th  our statements sat from the time I dropped them off on the 1st till the 20th before anything was done with them TWEENTY DAY'S they sat there TWEENTY DAY'S I say!!!  Long story short USPS is junk!!!
