What was original color of dash lettering on GT14?

I received my new dash & shifter panels today for my GT14 and they came black with no letter coloring. I  watched the tutorial  that someone posted on restoring dash panels. I thought the original lettering color was silver but maybe it's just dirty white on mine, I really can't tell. I am ready to order some of the blunt Sharpies as soon as someone can verify the original color, white or silver. Thanks

I don't know, but all the black plastic dash panels I have seen on other models the lettering was painted white

OK, that is good enough for me. I will order ehite Sharpies and try to find someone in my family with good eyes and a steady hand.

I think it may have been either --- on my 5 D series I'm pretty sure there was both among them. A bit hard to really pin it down what with the fading over time. I got the most impression that they were originally silver and used that  -- but that was the D series, other models could have been different. Prolly what the WH paint buyers got the best deal on at the time .....
