On another subject

A while back I noticed what I thought was a new icon in the lower right hand corner of the post window. It gave the option to turn off member signatures. Being a curious idiot, I clicked it. Sure enough, it turned off member signatures. Unfortunately, there is no little icon there to turn them back on. Now I miss them. Anyone know how to turn them back on?

 

BTW  I fixed the fan. I shut it off..

On your computer, find this at the top right of any RedSquare forum page and click on it to reveal drop-down

 

 

Then click on account settings

 

Next find signature as shown below. Click on it

 

 

Find the button marked View Signatures. Turn it on.

Back when some of us had very slow connections, a "signature" that had images would take a long time to download. Others that had a lot of text were just distracting. That's why admin put restrictions on what could be in your signature. I personally find some of them quite interesting and informative. Others which promote things that I personal find offensive or wrong for this type of forum, I just turn off. It's pretty simple.
