kpinnc 12,807 #1 Posted January 6, 2022 (edited) So as most of my projects go, I spend quite a good bit of time going back to fix things that didn't go so well. Case in point- my 867 was painted with automotive paint several years ago, and I didn't have a decent hood ornament to install when it was finished. Last year I found one, and got into a mess when I went to put it on. The layers of paint had reduced the size of the holes, so the ornament no longer fit. When I removed it, the hardened paint chipped around both holes. So I had seen a couple ornaments by "Wheel Horse 3D", so I reached out to see if he could help. I'm very glad I did. He came up with a base to go under the ornament, that I think looks great even if you don't need it. And it will cover my damaged portion very nicely. I still have to drop a little paint in the hole first, but I like the look! Edited January 6, 2022 by kpinnc 3

Sparky-(Admin) 21,552 #3 Posted January 7, 2022 Nice! Very clean look. The hood ornament on my 867 vibrates a bit and has eaten the paint off the hood about 1/16” all around the ornament
