Suggesting that you may want to try putting that wagon back to it's original form as much as possible as there is some value in them as a W-H collectible.  :dunno:

i do know that they are worth good money. i have no way of putting the square holes in the side panel once i fix the broken out area. the front axle situation is more along the lines of bracing and improvement. one original rim is missing i think i found a suitable replacement.

I've used a regular drill bit to get the round size right then a triangle shaped file to get the corners squared.

A bit of time occupied and works well enough.

What did you find to use? I have a 4 wheeled wagon also that someone repainted and put wheelbarrow tires and rims on it. I want to start hunting for the correct ones.

Got some more done. i thought i would update on some things. so i cut out the square tubing. you can see its way too thin. then i looked at angle iron and didnt like it. so i found a thicker flat bar from a seat support on a simplicity rear engine rider. i cut a piece out drilled the holes and then i cut out the bad section. i found a piece of plate steel i had cut out a piece and welded it in. then i bolted the flat piece on the top drilled hole then put the flat piece back where it goes for strength. now i have to do the other side

ok guys a bit of a update. jb weld was taking too long to do it. so even though i dont like using bondo to fix pitted metal i went ahead and bought some anyway. i worked at it all afternoon and my hand and arm said are you done yet lol. so i got it alot smoother than it was. i did sand it down alot more than what the unprimered photos show so dont hopefully it wont crack lol. so i am debating on the bedliner still. it will hide some of the imperfections and add durability. for local shows i might put my 1964 24 inch tiller in the wagon so would be nice to make it where it wont get damaged easily.

I done the bottom of floor last night. Tonight I painted the top over the bed liner. Yeah I know bottom may get a couple dings being so fresh but that's not seen every day

Ran into a issue today. One of the original 3 rims is  heavily pitted on inside. So I am going to work on that one later this year. Instead I had a pair of miscellaneous rims sitting in shed that I will use temporarily.

Kinda yes but correcting paint colors and cleaning makes it only a minor infraction.
