Pic of 3 point hitch on GT14

Recommended Posts

Dave 1953

I hope you folks will bear with me asking questions and asking for pics but I am a newbie to a GT14 plus I am legally blind so doing the smallest task on anything is a big deal for me.Just to get a screwdriver into the slot of a screw usually requires feeling the screw first but that being said, The GT14 I just purchased has the 3 point setup for the tiller which I got with it but for now I just want to replace the missing pieces, 5/8" swivel rod ends, threaded rod, chains, etc to where I can put any Cat. 0 implement on. I have purchased two RH 5/8" rod ends which I'm not sure if both or any of them supposed to be RH thread. On gent told me I needed to get 2 of them but I don't think he said which way threads I needed but it's a done deal now. Are both sides threaded the same way and which way is that?  What I need is a good quality pic of the Cat. 0 hitch on a GT14 without the tiller pieces showing the rod ends, 5/8" threaded rod and whatever the tops of these rods screw up into along with the chains and the hardware at the ends of the chains like a clevis, etc. The bigger pic the better and if you can take it with a digital camera and not a cell phone, that would be a plus. I hate to be so fussy but I am right on the verge of not being able to do anything that requires your eyes. I have gone from 20/10 eyesight in both eyes to blind in the left eye and just able to see a little in the other and no depth perception at all. You can't imagine how much the help already imparted to me by some folks on here has meant to me. May the Lord richly bless you for all you alls help.

953 nut

Paul @pfrederi has you covered on the GT-14 pictures. When I made the Cat 0 three point lift for my 953 I used four of the 5/8" swivel ends and some threaded rod from McMaster-Carr. I had to shorten mine up a bit due to the tight space but yours could be used full length.

Pullstart

Heavy rod for your adjusters is a must!  This 7/16” threaded rod didn’t last very long…
