Ed Kennell 38,188 #4 Posted December 26, 2021 Here ya go Cas. Now for "The rest of the Story" Around 15 years ago, this piebald fawn and his mother were watched and photographed by many when they fed in a field near the campground at Rocky Gap State park near Cumberland, Md. The fawn was illegally killed by a poacher that was arrested and convicted about two years later. The fawn was stored in an evidence freezed intil after the trial. After the trial, my BIL that worked for Md. dept of fish and wildlife was instructed to dispose (bury) the fawn. I aquired the fawn and did the taxidermy mounting.

I wonder what causes it to be like that if it is some type of genetic mutation. It was a shame that it met it’s ending like that but luckily you got your hands on it and preserve it so we can admire it.

Ed Kennell 38,188 #7 Posted December 31, 2021 A few of my creations. The fox pups were road kills I found on my way to work at the same location exactly one year apart. The gobbler and fox squirrel were harvested while hunting in Savage River State Forest in western Md. 1
