Dealing with storing blower, cab, removing weights and chains after winter turns into another big job and inconvenience besides the work of putting it all back again a few months later. However the body is stronger than the mind. Due to the difficulty that bending over presents I wind up kneeling all the time . Sure enough now the knees are complaining having to warm them up next to the heater every time I get up . Time to be sensible. formariz 11,987 #27 Posted December 31, 2021 (edited) So with the installation complete and correct I sort of understand why plow is slightly canted now. Contrary to previous two years that I had it, I changed the setting that increased the height of unit when not in use. If one uses it in the lowest setting it is basically level. As one increases it, then the action of the lift bar which lifts it totally on the left side has the tendency of increasingly canting the unit since pressure is only being applied on the left side of it. On the lowest setting the "stop" wheel prevents unit from tilting in the opposite direction. as one increases height it pulls it away from that stop. There is no ill effect due to it since when in use it makes full contact with ground relying on the skids for the height.
