Ifixoldjunk 778 #1 Posted December 23, 2021 (edited) So, somehow my younger brother has been infected with the tractor virus. So to keep him from stealing my 310-8 constantly I’ve decided to start looking for another horse to do a complete restoration on with him. We’ve pretty much came up with a list of possible tractors that we’d consider but I’d like to know what’s y’all’s absolute favorite wheel horse of all time. I’ve been thinking 520-H, c-175, B-100, or just about any other attach-a-matic wheel horses so we don’t have to hunt down a different set of implements😅 Edited December 23, 2021 by Ifixoldjunk 5

Guess the C-175 would get my vote. 4

Any wheel horse is a good tractor. It would just have to come with its attachments still😅 2

WheelhorseBob 1,549 #11 Posted December 24, 2021 (edited) Well there isn’t a wrong answer. I’ll give you three. 520H post 92’. They are built better than all other classic horses. Swept axle, one inch spindles, gear reduction steering etc. second would be either version of a C161. Auto or eight. Then I would include any version of the 160’s. I didn’t include the D series cause I do t know enough about them but I hear the D series with a 16 K series is very sought after. ebinmaine 67,496 #12 Posted December 24, 2021 I'd vote for the mid 70s C series. Trina would want another mid 60s little square hood.

The early round hood wheel horses are what the brand is known for.
Darb1964 1,042 #18 Posted December 24, 2021 I'm going to go with the 418-8 or A but they aren't that available so next choice would be the black hoods with the sixteen big K.

c-series don 8,707 #24 Posted December 24, 2021 Every time I get on one of my tractors that I haven’t been on for a while I think “this might be my favorite tractor” Then I’ll get on a different one and think “I really like this one too” and then I think that I like them all and that’s why I have so many!!! 2 3
