C-85 681 #16 Posted December 23, 2021 A few years ago we bought several new strings of LED Xmas lights. Recently some have stopped working I changed their little fuses and that didn't help, so I cut the plug off and put an old style plug w/o fuses thinking that would solve this but that didn't help either. These LED lights were sort of a sealed light bulb/globe type so there wasn't any way to check light bulbs. It's been a long time since we've had lights that when one goes out, they all go out! We bought these lights to get away from buying the old incandescent light bulbs all the time and to use less electricity! We assumed that they'd last like a Wheel Horse (forever), but I guess we were wrong! We've thrown these away and I hope the next time we buy more Xmas lights, hope they last better than these did!
