Bens vintage tractors 1,542 #1 Posted December 22, 2021 Well after sitting on marketplace for nearly 8 months I finally got the guy down to a reasonable price. 1966 606 original paint but obviously not the original engine. Hoping to swap a pull start k161 into it or possibly a diesel. the hood is fixable as the cut out part is just folded back.

Retired Wrencher 5,455 #4 Posted December 22, 2021 Ben, I see Teckys for this all the time on the net if that is what you would like to do. That seat is savable. Should be a good project for you.

I think a pull start 6hp kohler will be a nice upgrade to this machine..

Bens vintage tractors 1,542 #12 Posted January 3, 2022 So progress was made. What do y’all think? 16hp vanguard. Thinking an 8 speed too 2
ebinmaine 67,494 #13 Posted January 3, 2022 Engine looks good in there. Fills lots of space. Why the 8 speed? Are you looking for the low range or added strength?
