The head of payroll and I, with the help of the CFO, got and secured enough cash onsite to disburse about ⅓ of everyones likely net paycheck for the first half of January just in case our system was fine but the bank's systems didn't work. Only the three of us plus the managing director were in on it. On January 2nd the CFO and payroll manager, with a plainclothes security person a few steps behind, very discreetly wheeled a carry-on sized suitcase back to the bank.

:text-yeahthat:       Some episodes of Homer at the power plant were so realistic that we tend to think the writers worked at our plant.  :scared-eek:
