Yes Eric but they look just like this less the rubber set up. I have had many Start Gen in the past. Far as I can see they do not make them anymore.

Nice debate going on here Eric. But what I have seen in the past it was the other type. The 65`s and earlier where the clear bowl type. What a pain in the but those where install under the dash.

Sediment bowls are available for farm tractors and they were the same type.

 

They too, are on the internet.... Just have to know what inlet and outlet configuration you need.

I just recently bought a new sediment bowl set up. Then I came to my senses and decided not to use it. I ordered a 90 degree elbow and was going to use a shut off before the filter. Where do you order those @ebinmaine? I'd like to get a couple.

I was. From I understand it look like the bushing type with a screw in with filter attached. I have had original rusted set ups that had this shut off.

Most auto part stores carry them. But I think there cheaper than what Eric has. I tried two and they all leaked.

I ordered some online that were like the first picture I showed and I had to tighten up the nut on all of them. They weren't properly secured.  

 

 

Gary, try Steiner tractor for that sediment bowl.

You can get sediment bowls at any farm store or even Napa. They look cool but sediment bowls are French for GAS LEAK!

Thanks Eric. Just put my order in. Might have to paint the tank now that I have to remove it. So it could be a spring project. Any recommendations on gas tank paint?
