Gregor 4,846 #51 Posted January 1, 2022 These motors were used by 100's of manufacturers for 100's of applications. Some of them wanted the oil tube and drain on one side, some the other.

Took it off and apart and the diapragm was soft and mushy. Rather than wasting money on a plastic pump I would suggest rebuilding your metal pump. Get the kit here. https://www.then-now-auto.com/kohler-fuel-pumps-2/
Joe 77 B100 84 #53 Posted January 2, 2022 It must have already been replaced at some point because it is plastic already.
Joe 77 B100 84 #54 Posted January 4, 2022 Well, I got it running but the new fuel pump broken when I was putting it together. You know how you have to fit the two adjustable fuel ports to the side? And you have to use that metal ring to push in both sides at the same time? Well, when I used the metal ring, it broke the pieces it was supposed to just bend enough to insert the ports. Now I have a fuel leak from the new pump. The image shows the plastic ring that is supposed to be in the female part where the ports go in but it broke. I guess I should have paid the $70.
Joe 77 B100 84 #55 Posted January 7, 2022 The second, cheap fuel pump they sent me did the same thing. But, this time, it didn't leak. New issue; can anyone help me out here? I got the mower running and it purrs like a kitten. When I went to put the hood back on, I noted that one of the parts for the snowblower is missing and it doesn't attach to the mower correctly. In this pic, you can see down where the hood and snowblower attach to the mower, there is a round, thick washer that fits into a half-moon cutout on the snowblower to support it. The blue arrow is pointing to it. On the other side, they put a clamp on the bar (above arrow) to hold the snowblower on the other side because that round, thick washer is missing. There is an arrow and spring where it should be. Anyone know what size that washer is OR have a part number for me? I am not sure if it is a snowblower part (I don't think so from a cursory online search) or if is some kind of harness part or part of the mower.

Weird. I wouldn't have cross posted it if I knew it had been answered. My account didn't tell me that anyone had answered it and I am really excited to get it fixed so I cross-posted it. Usually, I get a notification (like I did with yours) that someone replied. Sorry. It won't happen again.
