Possibly selling some GT14 3 point implements

Recommended Posts

Dave 1953

As most of you have probably seen I recently purchased a Gt14 with a tiller, disc and plow. I already have the plow & disc in the Brinly Brand which are bigger and better  and a 48" Cub Cadet pto driven tiller so I coiud do without these implements unless they have some collector value.I don't have a clue as to what is a fair market xalue for any of these implements. The tiller is WH P/N 7-1232 Which I think is designed to go with a GT14. Anybody have any suggestions?\Dave

Plow looks like a Sears plow. You need to put this in the classifieds with a price.

I probably will when some members tell me what their worth aqnd yes, the first thing O said when I saw the plow was that looks like a Sears plow. There is a tag on it with the name of the Mfg.

They are worth what you want to sell them for and what a buyer is comfortable paying for them.  Attachments are worth different money in different parts of the country.  Want a run down...the plow is $125, the disc is the same, the tiller is around $350.  Now put it in the "Classifieds".  Actually, looking through the Classifieds might have given you these values.

Sorry, just tired of these kind of threads.  Do the leg work...look on FB, look in our classifieds, E-Bay...ask what you want...if it doesn't sell, lower the price...if it sells fast, you did not ask enough.  :confusion-confused:  :eusa-think:

Try paging through the classifieds “Archived  “ section…hard to say but you might find some good examples there…😎👍

The tiller requires a special dual pulley for the hydro pump.  If you are including that maybe a bit more price not included less.

@Dave 1953 there is nothing wrong with you asking what we think something is worth on this site.  The thing that got me, was, you just bought this package...you know what you payed for it...you know that those pieces already have a value and you know what that is...it is what you paid for the package.  You just want to know if you got a good deal and if you could make some bucks flipping those attachments...and depending on what we said, you may or may not sell them.  I'm just calling "She-nan-a-gins" on what you are trying to do.  Let's just take that disc for instance...I don't really care if you got it for $50, a good price for it is $125 - $150.  I would buy that for that if I wanted it.  If you payed $200 for it, you are going to lose money...maybe.  Might sell for that in Oklahoma, but not in Illinois.  Look, what I am trying to say...this is an honest site.  Treat us like we are not stupid.

Like I said before...if it doesn't sell, lower the price.  If it sells the same day, you did not ask enough.  :occasion-xmas:

Thank you for your advice. I put the moldboard plow and the disc on CL for 150 each and the first caller bought them both so I guess the price was in the ballpark.
