So I guess those number (frequencies) are only relevant to the immediate listening area that you are in? I only listen to the radio in the truck and that is tuned to SiriusXM "Bluesville", "FoxNews", "Bluegrass Junction", or the "Patriot" channel.

87.9 FM comes on the air as soon as my computer does.  Only can hear it in a quarter mile radius though.

Can't listen to commercial radio any more.

Most of the time it's 105.7 WAPL, the "Rockin Apple". Mostly 80's hair band & hard rock.

Occasionally it's 99.5 WPKR, "Packer Radio" but I can only stand listening to the same top ten country songs over & over for just so long.

102.3 WAUH "The Bug" is constantly on in our kitchen, They play 50's - 90's music of all kinds, you might hear Melanie's "Brand new key" , AC/DC "Thunder Struck" and Hank Williams "Kaw Liga" all back to back.

@squonk Every one of these stations carry the Packer games as well.:thumbs2:

And here's what 'talks to it' a hundred yards or so away.

It transmits whatever is playing in "Media Player" which has about 500 ripped CDs in it.

We had a delivery driver at Napa who liked Hard Rock. He would crank the radio up in the delivery truck. The old guy who drove early would get blown out of the water because he had a hearing aid when he turned the key on. So he kept complaining. So one day when the rocker was out on delivery I went to his car. He left the key in it so I reset every station to an opera station, cranked the volume and turned the key back off. Then I took off all of the knobs and buttons and hid them. Took a couple of tries until he got the message.

My older brother got grounded a couple times over this. He would borrow Father's car a 53 Chevy for a date.  But bring it home late leave the radio switched on to some rock and roll.  Shocked father at 6:15 when he left for work.    We lived about 3-1/2 miles from the mill he worked at.  One morning he ran out of gas on the way as my brother had brought it home on fumes...

I used to DX for AM radio stations in me younger daze.  WKBW was one I could almost always hear.  They still around?  I think there's a box out in the shop somewhere with QSL cards.  Pretty sure I got one from them.

I cannot stand C&W music so where did Uncle send me for my first assignment ...Ft Campbell KY.  The only stations you could get were C&W or Bible Thumpers.  Rarely used the car radio for 2 years....except the 15th and 30th of the month.  I was Class A agent for my unit and had to go in to post at 4 am to pick up the cash payroll.  At that hour you could pick up WLS out of Chicago which back then played top 40 music.... Loved it.  Especially Carly Simon "Your so Vain"

:text-yeahthat:     Strongest AM station I ever heard of.    :music-listening:    While in the Navy I could listen to WLS all the way from Syracuse NY to Charleston SC at night.

Much like @rmaynard I love the Sirius XM Radio.  NASCAR Radio, The Message (Christian) 50s, 60s and Elvis get listened to most frequently, FOX News if I feel the need to know what is actually going on in the world.
