C175 snow plow model?

Recommended Posts

Brockport Bill

the chart shows a 42 inch snow plow frame/blade for a C175 - model 06-42bc01 - Is there any reason a 48 inch plow of the 1980's and 90s era would not fit  - snow plow model # 0648bc03 or # 79350 - I believe they are also referred to as a 300 series plow????? thanks

so just to be sure??? a 06- 48bc 01 or 02 or 03 should fit a C175 as well as a 79350? Thanks for clarifying

@Brockport Bill   glad you got the detailing you want , if you spend some time on the  STEERING QUADRANT  , on that set up , lubricating its function and detail its spring loaded lock pin , slide area ,that blade will rotate / swing with little effort , set up mine on 2 milk crates , one on frame end , other just behind steering area  , letting you easily roller stool around it and verify its set up ease.  best thing about doing it this way , is that it will move the same way on your horse. , also detail in your lever swing handle , lubricate as you go . just an idea , pete

thanks for that perspective Peter - I have had a 48 for a 312-8 - and took pretty good care of it, but we can always do better with our maintenance and a few good tips from others experience is always helpful - so now I was planning a 48 plow with a C175 hoping to save my L4-5 lower back leaning forward from the manual arm on a 312-8 -- and start to use a power lift from a C175 -- so needed the confirmation from the brain trust here for what plow properly fits a C175 -- thanks again - Bill - As an after thought, i have just in recent years learned the benefit of anti seize as well as white lithium lubricants
