I have been using them and Have had no problems. Like I said though, not always room for them. When they work, they work well. I cut off the L shaped part, and put the Phillips head screw through whatever linkage I am connecting to.

But then you know how much USE my tractors get. Out of the shed, into the shed. Off the trailer, on to the trailer.

Do yourself a favor and ditch that white fuseholder when you have time. They are not waterproof and the spring inside eventually fails from rust and you end up having no power with a good fuse.

I keep my eye peeled for those son of a guns. I had it happen more than once. One time was during a big honkin snow storm and I was out plowing with my PK and it died right in the middle of the road sideways!

Some years ago was alone out sailing on the Hudson River and just as I was crossing the ship channel the wind totally died--and a ship was coming. I was getting pretty nervous after he sounded his horn (the "big boat rule" trumps the "sailboats have the right of way" rule). Thankfully pulled the outboard out of the locker, mounted it, and it started so I was able to get clear. Moral of the story? Good maintenance on that outboard!
