@Docwheelhorse those dry /rusty joints could use some lubrication help , lucas hd chassis grease is a good bet , that powder tye rod connection , 2 heim joints and 3/8x24 thread rod , make a very solid and quick fix , only if you want to . pete

I think he's onto something here: Quick Disconnect (QD) tie rods. Makes for rapid front axle changes with minimal tools required! :lol:

@Docwheelhorse  been road testing my heim joint set ups  for years now , seeing if they would stand up , no problems and zero failures , steering rods , pto foward rod , snow plow swing rod , clutch linkage , simple easy upgrade , only if you want to , pete

Tony, I bought a tractor one time the tie rods were held on by zip tie. Now that is innovation!

I sold all of them to one guy who thought he was going to get rich... I still see them pop up now and again at his inflated prices. In reality they sucked and I was glad to be done with them. They where REO's in reality...
