They’re Baack (Mosquitoes)

Recommended Posts

A balmy 54 degrees fahrenheit  here today and there are literally clouds of these things buzzing around.  I thought they’d finally disappeared back in early November (November!).  Is this even normal?

It's been quite chilly up here in the far Northeast for about a month now. I even had to resort to wearing pants instead of shorts!!

We've already had a good many days down around 18 to 25° at 6:00 or 7:00 in the morning.

You probably better go ahead and keep the mosquitoes down there. I wouldn't want them to freeze to death up here.

Your sensitivity to and love for all of Gaia’s creatures great and small is award worthy.  Has anybody got an old bowling trophy laying around we could repurpose?

So as not to cause any decapitations, I'm willing to donate a pulling trophy. :thumbs2: Least it will have a tractor on top.:D

My original thought was to remove and maybe sell these or hang them as shop art but the tread is in great shape and they just look cool.

The printed side which someone has moved to the inside of the tires has quite a fair amount of weather cracking and a couple of soft spots.
The solid non printed side appears to be in very good condition.
      They hold air fine.

This tractor will be used like our others to pull trailers of stuff around the acreage.... Possibly as much as 400-600 pounds as a guess.
We can use one of the B or C tractors for the heavier loads.
I'll likely put tubes in if they aren't already there. They'll likely also be fluid filled and low air pressure for extra traction.

So... What else can I do to help the tires as far as strength and structural stability?
