jonw440 187 #1 Posted November 29, 2021 (edited) I filled the weights with cement(guessing 35lbs each) Plus when I installed the Ags I filled them with winter windshield fluid. The ole girl is ready for the snow. (I also replaced the shifter boot as the old one was torn and brittle) Oh and the 8" carriage bolts fit but are a tad bit short. I did pick up 12" threaded rod that I will add next weekend. Edited November 29, 2021 by jonw440 4

roadapples 6,983 #6 Posted November 30, 2021 If you got those weights full of cement they should be closer to 50#....

I bought a 80# bag of cement and have 4 or 5" left dry in the bag. I would say 10lbs left in the bag. I should have used 70 lbs or 35 lbs each. I used a phillips long handle screwdriver handle to pack and push into each side of the weights. Not much if any air space left. Did you put in any water?

kpinnc 11,934 #12 Posted November 30, 2021 (edited) Since we're being scientific- one gallon of water is about 8lbs, so 39lbs per wheel? Sorry, I can't stop myself sometimes. jonw440, tractor looks ready to work! Edited November 30, 2021 by kpinnc

I works ok like this. I might put the extension on and see if it works better.
