JPWH 6,033 #151 Posted February 16, 2022 @Snoopy11 @oliver2-44 The disc seems to work pretty good after ploughing. I have 72 lbs of weight on it. The dome piece is sheet metal and had a flange to mount it with pop rivets. I cut the flange off and welded it. Whoever made it did a good job. I don't know about being made from factory but I think @953 nut mentioned he had heard of them. Jay 3

JPWH 6,033 #153 Posted February 25, 2022 I have some equipment to deliver to my son this weekend. I used my 12' trailer hooked to the 953 to bring it from the back yard. This is the first tractor I have owned that could pull this trailer without rearing up coming through the gate and had the most weight on the trailer. 3

Ain't it some handy to have a rig that'll do what you need, when you need it. Set it up right. Once. Excellent work Sir. 1 1
Pullstart 62,854 #155 Posted February 25, 2022 That fluid ballast, along with heavier built frame, front axle and CAST IRON grille shell really let these big wheelers shine 2

I was going to add 40 lbs to the front but I don't know if I really need it. Jay

ebinmaine 67,484 #158 Posted July 3, 2022 Excellent work Sir. What will you be using the 3 PT hitch for specifically?
JPWH 6,033 #159 Posted July 3, 2022 @ebinmaine All ground engaging equipment. It allows more control for keeping level at various heights. Here are the attachments I have had on it so far I also had a plow on but no pictures. 4

When I got the "orange other brand" last week I found out it has the lift for a Cat 0. My initial thought was for the ripper tooth. Obviously there's far more potential. JPWH 6,033 #161 Posted July 3, 2022 That is correct. I have a box blade I built a few years ago but I have not used it on this hitch yet. The hitch has about 8" of travel at whatever elevation it is set.
