JPWH 6,040 #1 Posted November 28, 2021 First I want to say thank you to @19richie66 for letting me adopt this tractor. I had a little time over the weekend to tinker with it a little. The hydraulic lever was 3/8 rod and would not let the belt cover go on. I put a new drive belt on and modified the hydraulic control lever and installed the belt cover. Then I started on the cover for the other side. This is where the hydraulic pump sticks out. It was previously installed with pop rivets. I cut the flange off the bump out part to fit the hole and started welding it in place. After I tacked it together I tried it for fit. Now to finish welding it up. 6 12

JPWH 6,040 #8 Posted November 29, 2021 (edited) @ebinmaine not much to do on this one. When I finish the side cover there is just lights and a choke cable to install. Then I need to source material for the grille and a seat. Edited November 29, 2021 by JPWH

I have some 27x9.5-15 on one (I believe those are GT-14 stockers), 235/75-15’s, 27x7.50-12’s and 27x10-12’s as well. 4

JPWH 6,040 #20 Posted December 4, 2021 (edited) Still waiting for the seat to arrive so I sourced the material for the grille cut it to fit and installed it. It has a 1/4" hole round pattern, is stainless and pretty thick. Edited December 4, 2021 by JPWH

JPWH 6,040 #22 Posted December 4, 2021 Thanks Richie. I was going to try to find an original style grille but since the back end is custom I decided to go custom on the grille. Jay 2
JPWH 6,040 #23 Posted December 4, 2021 I got the choke lever installed and hooked up, a kill switch mounted till I can find the right size key switch. Installed a hitch so I can pull a trailer and broke down the front tires and rims. Now to order a set of tri ribs. I also need to make handles for the throttle, choke, and hydraulic lever. Still working on the side cover. Jay
