grinchsr 628 #1 Posted November 23, 2021 (edited) Let me start by saying that I have never owned a C-series machine before which means I have never seen this strange oil drain system before. I have a very brittle rubber hose which I would like to replace. Hose is no longer available so what is the replacement? If the answer is hard piping what is the thread size and length? Racinbob 11,089 #10 Posted November 24, 2021 (edited) You could go solid but don't fasten the pipe to the frame. It has to move due to the wobble mount engine. @Snoopy11 has the right idea. peter lena 8,634 #11 Posted November 24, 2021 @Racinbob good set up on that bob, those safety valve shut off ,s are very good. regularly use the difficulty of a problem to plan on it disappearing . BTW ,would use that flange base bolt to frame mount ,an ELECTRICAL LUG , to enhance your . battery grounding . go from battery ground point to that , 4ga cable , then from that same lug point go to a 12 ga wire to rectifier mounting bolt point ,and on to headlight ground wire . , have that set up on y 3 horses , no more electrical issues , pete 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Alex175 784 #12 Posted November 24, 2021 Just changed the oil in mine last week and it was set up just like @Achto's, just a pipe with a cap over the end coming straight down.
