jtrosp1980 89 #1 Posted November 21, 2021 Well since I have had so much trouble finding parts. Figuring out part numbers and calling around with no success I'm going to tackle changing a HH-100-115095B engine to a k301 I'm hoping this will not be a Complete project over my head
stevasaurus 22,765 #2 Posted November 21, 2021 I know parts for any Tecumseh are becoming impossible to find...especially the HH-100. This is not the 1st time for a member to do this, and I think you will be pleasantly surprised how much help you can receive on this site.

jtrosp1980 89 #4 Posted November 21, 2021 Trust me I searched, tecumseh is not easy to look up specifically this HH-100-115095B they don't recognize they even made this motori needed a head gasket got it after searching then broke headbolt got them and then I decided I was going to do rings and valves not coming up with the part numbers I finally gave up and going with the kohler I have spent more time looking up parts than getting to work on it at least this way I can order the parts and then put them on at least that's the plan will 👀
Achto 27,609 #5 Posted November 22, 2021 (edited) I would swap a Techy for a Kohler any day!! Should not be difficult at all. Note : If the Kohler has a battery ignition then you will have to replace the ignition switch and do a little wiring. kpinnc 12,111 #7 Posted November 22, 2021 I think you'll be far happier with that Kohler in there anyway. Bulletproof and dependable.
