41chevy 74 #1 Posted November 16, 2021 Good evening. I bought a 1976 B 80 this past weekend, at least I think it is and have started taking it apart. Runs, drives and mows, just needs some TLC. Here’s the specs on it. ID Tag on frame. Kohler 8hp. Deck B 80. K181S. 65-36xR01 61-8K802-15460. 30629d. 06257 6093 Ser.7368905 The first thing I noticed was 2 different front wheels. Both tires are the same size 16x6.50x8 but the wheels are different. One is a deep dish 6” wide edge to edge, the other is 5” wide. My B 100 has 5” wide wheels so I would guess the 6” is wrong on the 80, but after looking at pics I see some with the deep dish. I ordered new tires but couldn’t fine either wheels. My question is. Which is right and where can I find a wheel, I’ve looked all over the net with no luck. Thx Steve
wallfish 17,011 #2 Posted November 16, 2021 Your best bet is Click on the Classifieds button above and place an ad for whatever you need in the wanted section. I'm sure someone will have the wheel you want.

JoeM 7,874 #4 Posted November 16, 2021 That is a good question. I am sure some expert will be along to clears this up soon. Just looking over the machines I have had, it seems like 74-77 were narrow then in 78 went wider. I had a 1975 B100 and it had the narrow 3 3/4 fronts and 22 7.50 12 on the rear. The 1979 C141 had the wider rims on the front and 8.50 on the rear. The 76 C120 has the narrow fronts and 8.50 on the rear. The 78 C81 had the wider rims on the front and the 8.50 on the rear. I do know the narrow version is a little harder to find in good shape. Wide ones are plentiful.

953 nut 55,302 #7 Posted November 17, 2021 If you don't find the wheel you need through the Classified ad you could call Lincoln at https://a-ztractor.com/. I am guessing that there is a reason you chose @41chevy as your screen name. 1

I bought a 41 chevy pu and spent 6 years building it, I haven’t figured out how to send pics. Any help with that would be appreciated. 1

Thx, I called and spoke with a gentlemen, he said the boss was out and they’d call me back, sounds promising from what he told me. I told him I might ride up cause I’ll probably need other parts, he’s not that far from me.

The part you seek may become available tomorrow or may be going out the door this afternoon! When I call, I'm ready to buy if he has it at a price I'm ok with. And that has been always, so far. Thx, yes, it’s a full size 2 door Blazer, I bought it new in 94, it’s all original with 138k on it now. It’s stays covered most of time in the garage, not a mark or rust on it. The spare tire has never been out of the back of it and I’ve never added air to it. I ck it every couple years, when ask about it I tell them it’s got the original air still in it.😂😂😂😂 1
953 nut 55,302 #16 Posted November 18, 2021 Fine looking Stove Bolt there! I had a '46 Chevy pick-up when I was in High School (1963) and have built several Street Rods over the years. We sold our '48 Ford pick up a year ago after thirty five years and well over 100K miles. I built it in 1987 and it had been to every NSRA Nationals from 1988 to 2009 as well as numerous other shows and local gatherings. It was time to pass the truck on to someone who would show it a some love so off it went to the land of fruits and nuts! California. 1
